Lou’s touring bike
I was able to get out before dark yesterday to take some photos of this champagne gold and chrome bike with robin egg blue lining. It is very shiny. It’s a special bike in the sense that I made the racks, brakes, crank arms, stem, etc. on it. I don’t usually make everything like that but sometimes I get the opportunity. It’s fun! Carefully packing this one up this week and it’s heading to its home in Texas!

The pin striping looks like a Jack Taylor I had back in the 70s.
I’ve often thought that Chapman Cycles are the most beautiful bikes ever made. I have to amend that and say his bikes are the most beautiful objects ever created by a human being. And so practical!
