Melissa’s 650b road bike
Melissa’s dark red 650b road bike with fenders was the sleeper hit in my booth this past weekend at the Philadelphia Bike Expo. Sporting (mostly) modern black components, this bike requires closer inspection to see all the details. The long point Prugnat lugs were designed for a level top tube so there was a little bit of blacksmithing to get the 6° slope. It’s a small bike (47cm) so the final build weight is just over 17lbs. Climbing and accelerating on this bike is pleasant to say the least.

Great Job as always Bryan.
I am always amazed how many new bike (you and other builder) ,use Mafac brakes . It like Macfac is still in buisness yet they closed in the 80’S ! How are you still able to find so many ? Ebay mostly ?
