There are a lot of details on Kelly‘s bike that I would like to share here but the full set pf photos will be on my Flickr page. It was really difficult to capture this blue in the photos. It is vivid but it doesn’t jump out at you. The metallic is just subtle enough to highlight the carved Pacenti Artisan lug edges. Lots of Rene Herse components meshing well with the 11-speed Ultegra drivetrain. Schmidt SL dynamo hub powers the lights and is controlled by the quill stem switch.
So I’ve always called this style of bike with detachable low riders, fenders, 3rd set of bottle bosses, and lights a light touring bike but some may call it a randonneur. I’ve never called them gravel bikes but I guess he can take this one on gravel too? How would you classify it?
